By consolidating various national rating systems, PEGI introduced a unified framework now used in over 35 countries across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Age ratings like PEGI ensure that entertainment content\u2014games, films, TV shows, and mobile apps\u2014is clearly labelled with a recommended minimum age based on the nature of its content.<\/p>\n<p>But you might be wondering: This is a system made for parents. Why is this relevant to me as an influencer?<\/p>\n<p>These ratings guide consumers, especially parents, in determining whether a game is appropriate for their children.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2324&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]If you promote or play a certain video game, check the age rating of a game you feature and clearly communicate this fact. That way, you demonstrate responsible online behaviour, encourage safe gaming practices, provide a positive example to children, and support experts dedicated to child safety online.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few tips and messages you can share with your audience of children and young people:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bad behaviour, cheating or offensive language is NEVER acceptable. Encourage them to report such players.
